Redwood Ink Academy Grant Application

Was your federal grant recently terminated by the new US administration? We want to help set you up for success with your next grant submission to the NIH or other organization.

We are accepting applications for a free 1-year enrollment in our Scientific Writing Simplified course and Redwood Ink Academy. You can find information about the course and community on the Scientific Writing Simplified page.

Award Details

If you are selected, you will get full access to the Scientific Writing Simplified course and Redwood Ink Academy for 1 year.

We are limiting the number of awardees to 20 principal investigators to start, and we hope to expand this program as our resources and capacity allow. If you are a co-investigator or other research team member, we encourage you to apply for future consideration.

Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until an undetermined date. Applications will be reviewed and awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis.*

Application criteria

  1. You are the principal investigator of a federally funded grant that was terminated under the new US administration. This role requirement is subject to change, so please apply if you have a different role on the project.

  2. You may be at any stage of your career (eg, postdoc, assistant professor, professor).

  3. The terminated grant can be any award type (eg, R series, K series).

  4. You must be able to provide a copy of your grant termination letter upon request.
